Writer Ram V. and artist John Timms are stepping in to draw a surprise one-off issue of DC's Catwoman #9 this March. The duo are taking over the March 13 issue from series writer Joelles Jones and artist Fernando Blanco.

"When crooks break into the pawn shop where Catwoman has set up her secret headquarters, they make off with a personal item that she has to get back," reads DC's description for the new story. "The trail of loot leads her to the Broker, the man who moves all illicit merchandise in Villa Hermosa. Now, Catwoman could just walk in and ask for her property back, but that's never been Catwoman's style. Instead, she's going to pull off a heist that will teach her foe a lesson, making sure the Broker never crosses the Cat ever again."

Jones and Blanco's planned story for #9 has been pushed back to #10, with #10's story pushed to #11.

The publisher did not give a reason for this change. However, this comes one month after Jones was announced to be drawing a two-part story in the Swamp Thing DC Giant title for Walmart.
