A day after a series of four Marvel animated Marvel series culminating with a fifth was announced to be in development for the Hulu streaming service, TheWrap industriously asked Hulu if the service would be open to reviving any of the Netflix live-action Marvel properties their Offenders series may or may not be modeled after.

Craig Erwich, Hulu's senior vice president of originals, told TheWrap that Hulu remains "open for business with Marvel," and may include the possibility of reviving series like Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, all officially canceled by Netflix within the last few months.

The Punisher just streamed its second season and Jessica Jones will stream its third later this year. Neither has been officially not renewed for a new season but that may just be academic.

“Marvel has a ton of titles we’d be interested in,” Erwich told the website, when asked if Hulu would have interest in reviving one of those series. “It kind of just depends on when they’re ready, [and] who, most importantly, is going to be behind these things.”

Hulu is reportedly about 60 percent owned by Marvel’s parent company Disney, after the close of its acquisition of 21st Century Fox’s film and TV assets.
