Terry Moore's Motor Girl is in development as a television series for Hulu. The cartoonist announced the project over on his Twitter in response to accolades about the 2016-2017 creator-owned series.
"Thanks! Today I am working on the pilot script for the Motor Girl series on Hulu," Moore tweeted.
"When a UFO crashes into Samantha's junkyard, she is happy to make repairs and send the little visitors on their way. But E.T. is smitten with the Marine veteran and now an industrial giant wants to buy the land to install their anti-UFO weapon," reads Moore's description of the seris. "With the help of her buddy Mike, a 600lb. gorilla, Sam is always prepared to defend those who can't defend themselves, but who will save Sam from the PTSD and shrapnel that threaten her life? To survive, Sam must ultimately face the greatest battle of her life - reality."
Back in 2017, Professor Marston & the Wonder Women's writer/director Angela Robinson began work on a live-action film adaptation of Moore's Strangers in Paradise.
