Meg DeLacy has been cast as Cindy Burman (a.k.a. Shiv) in DC Universe's Stargirl, according to Deadline. Jake Austin Walker has also been cast in an undisclosed role. DeLacy confirmed the casting on Instagram.

In comic books, Shiv is one of Stargirl's first major enemies. In the show's descritpion, Cindy Burman is described as “Blue Valley High’s most popular student… and its most feared. Secretly the daughter of Dragon King (played by Nelson Lee), a longtime enemy of the Justice Society of America, Cindy is determined to follow in her father’s footsteps."
DeLacy recently appeared in the 2017-18 season of The Fosters on Freeform.
Walker joins Stargirl after co-starring on Sundance Channel's Rectify. The actor had a small role on a 2016 episode of Fear the Walking Dead.
Stargirl is expected to debut in August.
