DC has informed retailers that February 27's Justice League Odyssey #6 planned story has been dropped in favor of a "new story" (with a new solicitation) involving Blackfire. Writer Dan Abnett and artist Carmine Di Giandomenico remain on-board for this issue - the first in a new run, taking over from Joshua Williamson and Stjepan Sejic.

"The shocking truth about the Ghost Sector, and why Brainiac hid these planets away for so long, is finally revealed!" reads DC's new solicitation." But before the Odyssey team can take action, a catastrophic event rocks the Ghost Sector. All this, and a decidedly hostile welcome from Queen Komand'r, better known as Starfire's sister, Blackfire!"

The previous solicitation for the issue, released in November 2018, also referenced the Ghost Sector.

"The Codex reveals a dangerous secret to the Odyssey team about the fate of the Ghost Sector that makes their mission clear: they have to escape!" read the original solicit. "However, with Green Lantern out of action and Darkseid hot on their trail, Cyborg, Azrael and Starfire might have to rely on the very dark powers that they are trying to outrun in order to save the Multiverse!"
