Spider-Man: Far From Home has added actor Zach Barack in an unidentified role, according to Variety.

Barack is the first openly trans actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His character's gender identity hasn't been specified.

This is Barack's first big screen role. He previously appeared in Spectrum TV's L.A.'s Finest and has a current role on Amazon's Transparent. His yet unnamed character can be seen in the teaser trailer's finale scene, in the back right of the screen among Peter Parker's classmates (seen above).

A Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios joint production, Spider-Man: Far From Home is due out in theaters July 5.
