Various DC Comics titles have been added to Amazon's comiXology Unlimited subscription service. Thousands of DC single issues and collections have been added to the service. This is in addition to DC Universe, DC's in-house subscription service which includes movies, TV shows, and comics.

“DC is constantly looking at ways of growing the audience for comics and graphic novels, so teaming up with comiXology Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited and Prime Reading is a natural fit,” said John Cunningham, Senior Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing. “From Aquaman to Sandman, there’s so much for DC readers, old and new, to love here.”

Originally launched in May 2016, comiXology Unlimited is a $5.99/month flat rate subscription service allowing unlimited reading of select titles from comiXology's catalog. In addition to the just-added DC content, the service also includes titles from Marvel Comics, IDW Publishing, Dark Horse Comics, BOOM! Studios, Valiant Entertainment, Dynamite Entertainment, and others. The service is currently only available to United States residents.

We are thrilled to now include an incredible selection of DC’s vast library of Super Heroes and DC Vertigo titles as part of comiXology Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited, and Prime Reading, bringing an even bigger benefit to all our subscription members” said comiXology CEO David Steinberger. “With the addition of DC and DC Vertigo titles we’re providing more convenience and a great opportunity for readers to discover and explore some of the best stories comics have to offer at no additional cost to their current Prime, Kindle Unlimited or comiXology Unlimited subscription.”

DC has also added several collections and OGNs to Amazon's other flat-rate reading services Kindle Unlimited and Prime Reading.
