Sony is developing animated TV projects based on characters featured in its film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, according to the New York Times.
A profile of recently-named Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida states that the studio is "considering" developing television projects based on Spider-Verse characters, which won a Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature.
This isn't the first talk of spin-offs for the film and its characters. A sequel focusing on Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen is reportedly also in development, as is a Spider-Girls spin-off featuring Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, and Silk.
No further details of the Spider-Verse animated television products were reported. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is currently in theaters.
