Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has been cast to play a stormtrooper in Lucasfilm's Star Wars: Episode IX, according to The Sun.
Back in 2015, Oliver dressed as a Stormtrooper to walk his children to school surfaced. According to the UK tabloid, that led Star Wars producers to offer him this role in 2018.
"Jamie was at Pinewood Studios training with the other stormtroopers to prepare for the role," said The Sun's anonymous source. "He took it really seriously because it has been a dream come true, but he’s been sworn to secrecy."
Several celebrities filmed masked cameos in The Last Jedi, including Tom Hardy, Prince Harry, Prince William, Gary Barlow, Edgar Wright, Ellie Goulding, and Gareth Edwards.
Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled to open in theaters December 20, 2019.
