BATMAN: CREATURE OF THE NIGHT #4 Postponed Indefinitely

DC Comics has cancelled orders for January 2019's Batman: Creature of the Night #4, but plans to re-solicit the issue. Diamond has removed the issue from its database, however the publisher currently lists it with a May 29, 2019 release date.

DC Senior Editor Chris Conroy addressed the situation on Twitter, saying this finale will be "worth the wait."

"Hey, everybody - we're sorry about the final delay on Batman: Creature of the Night, but it genuinely couldn't be helped," Conroy said. "And we're in the home stretch of finishing it up. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait. The last script made me tear up. It's a knockout."

Originally announced in 2010, Kurt Busiek and John Paul Leon's Batman: Creature of the Night was pushed back on several occasions before the first issue hit selves on Novembr 29, 2017. Issues #2 and #3 were released December 2017 and April 2018, respectively.
