Image Comics' Spawn will appear in Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's Mortal Kombat 11, according to creator Todd McFarlane. During a Reddit AMA, the writer/artist was asked about the possibility of it happening and revealed their intentions.
"I believe he's on his way...," McFarlane said. He did not elaborate on this however, and WBIE has not commented.
Several Spawn video games have been released in the past, and the character was also a playable option in 2003's Soulcalibur II.
Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to be released April 23, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.
