Morena Baccarin, Eric Bana, Carrie Coon, and Pablo Schreiber are being targeted by Netflix for the lead roles in the Jupiter's Legacy television series, according to That Hashtag Show.
Bana and Schreiber are reportedly up to play the Utopian/Sheldon Sampson and Brainwave/Walter Sampson, the co-founders of the superhero team Union of Justice in the comic book series.
Morena Baccarin and Carrie Coon are both purportedly on Netflix's shortlist to play Lady Liberty/Grace, who is married to the Utopian.
“[Jupiter's Legacy is] rattling along just now. All the scripts are coming in for the TV show, start the casting,” Millar said recently. “So we’re getting going on that. Most likely it will be the first [Millarworld property released on Netflix], but no official dates announced yet. But we know internally, and we’re planning with that.”
Steven DeKnight (Daredevil, Pacific Rim: Uprising) previously signed on as Jupiter's Legacy showrunner, and Netflix is aiming to begin filming an eight-episode first season in April 2019.
Netflix has not announced a release date.
