Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld has some unique insight into what made it into Deadpool 2 - and what didn't. Reporting on Facebook from a Deadpool 2 MPAA screening, Liefeld has offered some information about several post-credits "coda" scenes that didn't make it into the film.
Apparently, in addition to the presented post-credits scenes in which Deadpool uses Cable's time-travel capability for multiple missions (including somehow dealing with a baby Adolf Hitler), original plans called for Deadpool to pee on Shatterstar's grave, Peter getting a prosthetic arm, and tryouts for a new X-Force team.
Here's Liefeld's summary of the event:
Once Upon a Deadpool, a PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2 which adds eight new scenes, is scheduled for a December 12 theatrical release.
