Yvette Monreal and Christopher James Baker have been cast in undisclosed, regular roles for DC Universe's Stargirl, according to Deadline. While their reported roles are unknown to the Hollywood trade, they say that they are "DC characters."
Brec Bassinger was previously cast in the lead role for Stargirl, and showrunner Geoff Johns has said that the show would also feature the Justice Society of America.
Monreal is best known for her role in El Rey's The Matador, and is currently filming Rambo V: Last Blood.
Baker came to fame for his role in HBO's True Detective, and recently starred in NBC's Shades of Blue. Comic book fans might remember him as Raymond Earl (a.k.a. the Goat) in Fox's Gotham.
According to a schedule released by DC in October, Stargirl is planned to debut in late August 2019.
