The title for 20th Century Fox's planned December 2018 release of a PG-13 cut of Deadpool - with eight new scenes - has a title, and a unique release window. First reported by Deadline, this PG-13 re-release will be titled Once Upon a Deadpool - which to some may be a portent for the upcoming planned acquisition of Fox (and the Deadpool movies) by the Walt Disney Company.

Fox reportedly plans to release Once Upon a Deadpool on December 12 for a limited run to conclude on December 24.
(13 days... the 13 days of Christmas. Ring any bells?)
“Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006,” Reynolds told Deadline. “I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining…”
Fox plans to donate $1 for every ticket sold for this limited engagement to F*** Cancer, a cancer charity.
As for Savage, the former Wonder Years star filmed bits for Once Upon a Deadpool's new scenes. The scenes reportedly homage Savage's scenes in The Princess Bride.
