Vixen is back on DC's Legends of Tomorrow - sort of. Actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers debuted in a new role in this weeks episode as Charlie - a 70s incarnation of Vixen that has a totally different attitude than her predecessor on the show Amaya, also played by Richardson-Sellers.
“Everything Amaya is, Charlie is the opposite, so they would never get along,” Richardson-Sellers told Entertainment Weekly. “She’s snarky, she’s cheesy, she’s a bit of rebel, she’s a massive troublemaker, and she’s just out for herself. She doesn’t care about any collective or greater good, so she really shakes up the energy on the ship, and everyone’s a bit confused by her.”
As for why Charlie looks exactly like Amaya, that question won't take long to answer.
“That mystery we answer pretty quickly,” explained executive producer Phil Klemmer. “The mystery of who she is beyond her appearance, though, will be something we’ll be exploring for the rest of the season.”
DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Monday nights on CW.
