MARVEL STUDIOS Hires WONDER WOMAN 1984 Writer For Unspecified Film - Report

Marvel Studios has hired Wonder Woman 1984 screenwriter David Callaham to write an upcoming film, according to That Hashtag Show. Callaham worked previously for Marvel Studios, doing an uncredited rewrite of 2015's Ant-Man.

According to That Hashtag Show, Callaham started on the new Marvel Studios project in early October. and is unrelated to Marvel Studios' various TV projects slated for the Disney Play streaming service.

Callaham wrote the script that was the basis for the film The Expendables, and also wrote Legendary's Godzilla. The California-based writer recently wrote a script for the planned Zombieland sequel and a Mortal Kombat reboot.

It was previously reported that Marvel has already hired screenwriters for Black Widow, The Eternals, and a Black Panther sequel.
