Director/actor Werner Herzog may have a role in the upcoming Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian, which is in production for Disney's planned proprietary streaming service.
Herzog told The A.V. Club in September that he had a part in a "big franchise film," which he confessed was codenamed "Huckleberry."
Now MakingStarWars has posted set photos from behind-the-scenes of The Mandalorian which appear to show crewmembers wearing nametags with the word "Huckleberry" on them - potentially meaning, as The A.V. Club has pointed out, that Herzog's "big franchise" role may actually be in the Star Wars TV show rather than a feature film.
No debut date for The Mandalorian has been announced.
