In January BOOM! Studios will publish WWE: Forever #1, an oversized one-shot special featuring tales about some of the greatest WWE superstars ever to enter the squared circle.
Stories in the anthology include the rise of Bret Hart by Michael Kingston and Michel Mulipola; the tale of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Matilda the Bulldog by Brent Schoonover; a match between Razor Ramon and Ted DiBiase in a jewelry store by Lan Pitts and Carlos Magno; and the origin of the partnership of Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster by Arune Singh and Kendall Goode.
WWE: Forever #1 features a main cover by Rahzzah (Luke Cage), along with a wraparound preorder cover by Kendall Goode (The Doorman) and a variant cover by Marco D’Alfonso (I Am Groot).
“WWE is home to some of the greatest performers in history and we’re thrilled to honor some of those Legends in this special,” said Chris Rosa, Editor, BOOM! Studios.
WWE: Forever #1 is scheduled for release on January 30 in comic book stores and on November 6 at bookstores and the BOOM! Studios webstore.
