Several notable DC titles were absent from the publisher's December 2018 solicitations released earlier this week, and several twice-monthly titles only had one issue - and now a reason why has come out.

DC will not be releasing any titles on Wednesday December 26 due to Christmas, and all titles planned for that date will be solicited for a January 2 release in the January 2018 solicitations due out in October.

Another wrinkle is that January will be a five-Wednesday month.

The confirmed titles that were planned for December 26 but are now moved to January 2 are: Action Comics #1006, Batgirl #30, Batman Beyond #27, Books of Magic #3, Detective Comics #995, The Flash #61, Heroes in Crisis #4, Hex Wives #3, Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe #6, Justice League Odyssey #4, Old Lady Harley #3, Raven: Daughter of Darkness #11, Scarlet #5, Scooby-Doo Team-Up #45, The Silencer #12, The Terrifics #11, Titans #32, and Wonder Woman #61.
