Marvel Comics has canceled plans to publish the previously-announced The Vision limited series. Originally announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego, the series was to be written by Chelsea Cain and Marc Mahon and drawn by Aud Koch.

This decision comes one full month before retailers' orders for The Vision #1 were due to Diamond Comic Distributors.

Cain responded to Newsarama's initial story of the cancellation on Twitter, saying she had completed four issues.

And can a synthezoid father handle single parenthood? The married writing team of Chelsea Cain (Mockingbird) and Marc Mohan joins rising star artist Aud Koch for a new take on the Vision family that will once again have everyone talking!
