Bruce Banner actor Mark Ruffalo says that upcoming scheduled reshoots for Avengers 4 go beyond the normal reshoots of a film - they'll actually be necessary to complete the movie.
"Well we're doing reshoots starting in September, then we'll go back into the international tour...And then you guys will get the second installment, which we don't even know what it's gonna be yet. We're not just doing reshoots, we're going to finish the movie which we really didn't get to finish when we left it last year," Ruffalo told The Marvelists podcast. "I don't even know that they really know exactly, some of it is happening while we're there."
"We'll shoot some stuff and a few days later come back and reshoot it cause we want to take it in a different direction," Ruffalo continued. "It's a very living organism even as we approach it being a locked picture, we're still working on it."
The planned shooting for the still officially untitled sequel will take place this month.
Avengers 4 is due out in theaters May 3, 2019.
