Alec Baldwin has exited the role of Thomas Wayne in director Todd Phillips' Joker solo film.
"I'm no longer doing that movie," Baldwin told USA Today, saying his departure was due to issues with "scheduling."
"I'm sure there are 20 guys who could play that part," Baldwin said.
Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, along with Marc Maron, Zazie Beetz, and Robert DeNiro in unconfirmed roles.
The film is anticipated to begin filming in September for an October 4, 2019 theatrical release.
