Diamond International Galleries was founded in 1995 by Steve Geppi, the owner of Diamond Comics Distributors. Earlier this year Geppi announced plans to donate $3,000 comics and memorabilia from his private collection to the United States' Library of Congress. His museum, Geppi’s Entertainment Museum in Baltimore, closed earlier this year.
