Longtime Injustice writer Tom Taylor has penned a farewell letter following the end of the current Injustice 2 digital first limited series.
Taylor gives a rundown on how he was initially recruited to write the original Injustice: Gods Among Us series including how his editor broke to him that he'd be turning Superman evil.
"Hearing those words was a punch in the gut," Taylor writes. "I did what any man would do in my position. I complained to my wife, Megan, and then I called my mum and I complained some more. And then, I said I’d do it."
Taylor has written DC's Injustice comics since 2012, with a break midway through to focus on his comic book-to-animated series The Deep during other writers took over the Injustice titles.
Taylor's run on Injustice isn't over yet, however - a 40-page Injustice 2 Annual #2 is scheduled for release in November and Taylor teases a further possible return in the below letter.
