Uncanny X-Men #1 will launch this November with a 10-part weekly storyline titled "X-Men: Disassembled" from writers Ed Brisson, Kelly Thompson, and Matthew Rosenberg, and artists Mahmud Asrar, R.B. Silva, Yildiray Cinar, and cover artist Leinil Francis Yu.
The announcement came with promotional art by David Marquez and Rachelle Rosenberg, seen below.
A whole host of X-Men are on the image - though noticably absent are the five original teen X-Men (their story will be resolved in the upcoming Extermination) and the adult Cyclops, who remains dead in continuity.
The term "Disassembled" was previously used as the title of an Avengers story that killed multiple members of the team and led to the title's cancellation and relaunch.
Here's how Marvel describes the story: "X-MEN DISASSEMBLED brings together nearly every mutant left on earth in a story that threatens to destroy them – an epic tale of mystery and tragic disappearance, with an adventure so earth-shattering, it could very well be the X-Men’s FINAL mission!"
Uncanny X-Men #1 will arrive November 14. Here's the full solicitation:
