As teased earlier this week, Marvel Comics is launching a new series called X-Men Black - or rather, a series of one-shots. Long-time villains Magneto, Mojo, Mystique, Juggernaut, and sometimes-villain Emma Frost each star in an issue - with an Apocalypse back-up story throughout the one-shots written by Lonnie Nadler and Zac Thompson.

Announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego's X-Men panel, each one-shot is scheduled to be released in October.

The books' creative teams are: Emma Frost (Leah Williams/Chris Bachalo), Magneto (Chris Claremont/Dalibor Talajic), Mojo (Scott Auckerman/Nick Bradshaw), Mystique (Seanan McGuire/Marco Failla), and Juggernaut (Robbie Thompson/Shawn Crystal).

J. Scott Campbell will be drawing the primary covers for each issue.
