Updated July 23, 2018: None of the announced titles in the Milestone line are solicited for release in DC Comics' October 2018 solicitations. Earlier this month, Static Shock artist Kyle Baker said that the publisher had told him that some of the line would launch in October. He has since deleted that tweet.

Newsarama has reached out to both Baker and DC for comment.

Original Story: DC Comics' long-gestating Milestone imprint will relaunch this October with Static Shock - now as a "bi-monthly" title, according to series artist Kyle Baker. Baker tweeted the news earlier this month in response to a fan question.

"DC tells me It's been moved to October. My delivery schedule's also been adjusted by DC," tweeted Baker. "They told me to deliver bi-monthly instead of monthly. We all want the book to be good, and more time should help us maintain the high quality you should expect from DC."

DC and Milestone have not confirmed this revised schedule.

Milestone Media first announced the relaunch in January 2015, with DC Entertainment bringing it back into the DC fold as "Earth-M" in a 2015 Comic-Con International: San Diego announcement. In October 2017, DC announced that Milestone would launch in the spring of 2018 with Static Shock, Love Army, Duo, and a introductory one-shot called Milestone.

“We know fans have been waiting for the return of Milestone Media and we’re excited to collaborate with Reggie and Denys to build this new Earth M universe,” said DC Chief Creative Officer Lee at the time. “This world will reintroduce iconic characters fans know and love - along with new, bold, original concepts - creating a new platform dedicated to inclusion and great storytelling.”
