Extremity's Daniel Warren Johnson returns this fall with a new creator-owned series titled Murder Falcon.

Scheduled to launch October 10 from Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment, Murder Falcon is about a hero named - what else? Murder Falcon - who approaches a down-on-his-luck man named Jake to help him save the world.... with "Jake's guitar-shredding skills."

"The world is under attack, and Jake’s life is falling apart: no band, no girl, no future…until he meets Murder Falcon," reads Skybound's solicitation for the first issue.

"Sent from the Heavy to destroy all evil, Murder Falcon can’t do it without Jake shredding up a storm. Now, with every chord Jake plays on his guitar, the power of metal fuels Murder Falcon into all-out kung fu fury on those that seek to conquer Earth!"

Johnson is scheduled to be joined by colorist Mike Spicer and letterer Rus Wooton, with Skybound editor Sean Mackiewicz overseeing the project.
