Marvel Studios' Ant-Man & the Wasp is tracking towards a $75 million opening weekend domestically, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 2015 original earned $57.2m in that frame, ultimately reaching $180.2m domestically and $519.3m overall.
If Ant-Man & the Wasp does open to $75m domestically, it would be the fifteenth-highest domestic opening for Marvel (of 20 movies in total).
The Blumhouse film The First Purge will open two days prior to the Ant-Man sequel, tracking for a $25m extended domestic opening weekend.
Ant-Man & the Wasp will open in North American theaters July 6.
