Marvel Comics are now encouraging a midnight, July 3 launch for Captain America #1 – along with all other titles scheduled for July 4 release.

In Marvel’s July 2018 solicitations, these titles were scheduled for a July 4 release (that could change however as the date approaches): Captain America #1, Ant-Man & The Wasp #3, Astonishing X-Men #13, Avengers #4, Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider #21, Cosmic Ghost Rider #1, Deadpool #2, Death of Inhumans #1, Doctor Strange #3, Hunt for Wolverine: Weapon Lost #3, Immortal Hulk #2, Infinity Countdown: Champions #2, Marvel Rising: Squirrel Girl/Ms. Marvel #1, Spider-Man/Deadpool #35, Star Wars #50, Star Wars: The Last Jedi Adaptation #4, Weapon X #20, and X-Men: Gold #31.

For the United States, Wednesday July 4 is Independence Day but will be a busy day in comic stores regardless, as DC is also releasing Batman #50. Newsarama wrote about this rare holiday New Comics Day here.

Earlier this week, DC signaled that all of its July 4 titles including Batman #50 could also be sold beginning 12:00 a.m. local time on July 4.
