Warner Bros. Animation are developing two new animated series based on Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Both shows are scheduled to premiere in 2019 on the digital streaming service Boomerang.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? pairs the iconic dog and the Mystery Inc. gang with a variety of guest-stars including Chris Paul, Ricky Gervais, Kenan Thompson, Bill Nye, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Mark Hamill, and the duo of Halsey and Sia. Fictional characters such as the Flash, Wonder Woman, and Sherlock Holmes are also scheduled to appear. The show will be produced by Chris Bailey and Sam Register.
Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs! will focus on The Flintstones' Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm, and Dino. This 15-minute show will feature the two children investigating Bedrock and its surrounding area. Mark Marek, Marly Halpern-Graser, and Sam Register will produce this show.
Boomerang has also acquired the U.S. rights to HoHo Rights' Wind in the Willows UK animated series, with plans for it to debut in 2019 as well.
