Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are seeking a 20-something actress to play a new female lead in the still untitled sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, according to Variety. No, don't worry about Zendaya's MJ or Marisa Tomei's Aunt May - both are reportedly confirmed to return for this film.
Details of the new character in question were not reported, but Variety ties the casting search to Jake Gyllenhaal's talks to join the film as the villain Mysterio.
Variety also reports that Michael Keaton will return as the Vulture. Both Mysterio and Vulture were members of the original comic book Sinister Six.
The untitled sequel is due out in theaters July 5, 2019.
