Dark Horse is relaunching its line of Predator comic books, tying into the upcoming The Predator film. First reported by CBR, in August Dark Horse will launch Predator: Hunters II, a sequel to a 2017 miniseries.
“Since the beginning of time, Predators have come to Earth from their home among the stars to stalk and kill the strongest of humans for sport," reads the publisher's description of the book. "But now the tables have turned, and a group of human hunters has set their sights on the Predators. But they soon find out they are competing with a mysterious government agency that is after the same prey. The hunt is on, and only the strongest and smartest will survive!”
Dark Horse Senior Editor returns to write this sequel, and will be joined by artist Agustin Padilla.
In December, Dark Horse plans to collect to re-collect its various Predator comic books its released over the years in a series called Predator: The Essential Comics. Volume 1 will include Predator: Concrete Jungle, Predator: Cold War, and Predator: Dark River.
The Predator is scheduled to open in theaters September 14.
