Did you like the Marvel One-Shots short films the studio did from 2011 to 2014? So did the Walt Disney Company, and they're asking them to revive the program... but there's a problem.

“We’re just so busy,” Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito told Entertainment Weekly. “Disney wants us to do it, we want to do it, and I keep telling them, ‘I’ll do it on the next film,’ but I keep breaking my promise.”

In addition to acting as studio co-President and movie producer, D'Esposito directed several of the one-shots including Item 47 and the original Agent Carter short.

Since the final Marvel One-Shot in 2014 (Iron Man 3's "All Hail the King"), the studio has done other short films such as Thor: Ragnarok's "Team Thor" and "Team Darryl" shorts.

Marvel's two primary animation studios - Walt Disney Animation and PIXAR - commonly do shorts before most of their films.
