Updated May 15, 2018: 20th Century Fox's Deadpool is now tracking for a $175-$200 million opening weekend internationally, according to Deadline. The previously-reported $130-150m domestic tracking - which has remained the same since April 26 - would land the film at a global $305-$350m opening weekend overall.
Deadpool 2 is estimated to open in 4,332 screens across the United States and Canada - the largest ever for a Fox film.
Original Story: 20th Century Fox's Deadpool 2 could have a $150 million opening weekend domestically, according to early box office tracking estimates reported by Deadline. However, those numbers could fluctuate given the film is still four weeks out from its theatrical debut.
The original Deadpool in 2016 took $132m in its domestic opening weekend - the highest-grossing opening for an R-rated film ever. The film ultimately took in $783.1m worldwide.
Deadpool 2 is scheduled to open in theaters May 18.
