Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has confirmed that Marvel Studios will not be having any Hall H presentations at this year's Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC).
“We’re going to do um, of course, Marvel will have a presence there. Marvel Studios will have a presence there only in that there will be 10th-anniversary materials and a 10th-anniversary panel," Feige told ScreenRant. "Not doing Hall H this year."
Hall H is the San Diego Convention Center's largest panel room, with a capacity of 6,500. The room is typically reserved for SDCC's largest mainstream events, including numerous Marvel Studios, Warner Bros., and 20th Century Fox movie presentations.
Hall H hosted panels for Marvel Studios in 2016 and 2017, but the studio skipped 2015 as well.
This year's SDCC is scheduled for July 19 through 22 - several weeks after the release of Ant-Man & The Wasp. After that, their next upcoming movies will be Captain Marvel (March 8, 2019), Avengers 4 (May 3, 2019), and the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel (July 5, 2019).
The next D23 Expo, which Marvel Studios also organizes Hall H-sized events/announcements, is scheduled for August 23 - 25, 2019.
