ELLIS, SHALVEY & BELLAIRE's INJECTION Coming to TV

The Image Comics series Injection has been optioned as a live-action television series by Universal Cable Productions, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The comic book series was created by Warren Ellis, Declan Shalvey, and Jordie Bellaire.

"Once upon a time, there were five crazy people. And they poisoned the 21st Century," reads Image's solicitation for Injection Vol. 1. "From the creators of Moon Knight: From the Dead,  the story of five mad geniuses trying to save us all from themselves."

This is UCP's second project with Ellis, as he wrote an adaptation of the comic series El Pantera for the company. UCP is currently producing a live-action Happy! for Syfy and Umbrella Academy TV series for Netflix. It has previously optioned several comic books for TV adaptations including Concrete, The Disciples, Dreadstar, Flutter, Harrow County, Sinatoro, and The Wicked + The Divine.
