The release date for Paramount Pictures untitled sixth Terminator film has been pushed back four months, according to Variety. The James Cameron-directed film was originally announced with a July 26, 2019 release date, but the studio has since updated that to November 22, 2019.
Paramount has not disclosed the reason for the delay, but specifically told Variety that it was not due to Arnold Schwarzenegger's recent open-heart srugey.
In this new slot, this Terminator film currently has no other films debuting at this date but comes one week after Paramount's Sonic The Hedgehog and one week before Disney's second Frozen.
Both Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton plan on reprising their roles for this film, along with writer/director James Cameron. This will be the first time the three individuals have all worked together since filming the scens for the T2 3-D: Battle Across Time in 1995.
