Marvel's blockbuster Black Panther continues to break new ground, as it will be the first movie screened to the public in a cinema in Saudi Arabia in 35 years, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Saudi Arabia has had a ban on public movie theaters since 1983 - a band which was lifted in December. As a result, Black Panther will be the first movie shown at the kingdom's first AMC theater, a 620-seat converted concert hall in Riyadh.

Black Panther will premiere in Saudi Arabia on April 18, and will play for five days before being replaced by Avengers: Infinity War on April 27.
