DETECTIVE COMICS #979 Switches Artists as One Heads to JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK

Phillipe Briones has taken over the art duties on April 25's Detective Comics #979, replacing the originally-solicited Alvaro Martinez and Raul Fernandez.

Briones previously illustrated the series' #974, and has also worked on recent issues of Justice League and Aquaman. Martinez was recently announced as the artist of the upcoming Justice League Dark relaunch with his soon-to-be former Detective Comics writer James Tynion IV.

The Martinez/Fernandez team remains slated to return to draw May's #980 and #981.
