Pedro Pascal has joined Warner Bros.'s as-yet-untitled Wonder Woman sequel in an undisclosed role, reports Variety. Pascal joins a cast that includes the returning Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and the newly-cast Kristen Wiig as Cheetah.
Pascal is best-known for his roles as Oberyn Martell in HBO's Game of Thrones and Javier Pena in Netflix's Narcos, but he has a unique tie to Wonder Woman - he played a minor role in NBC's unaired 2011 Wonder Woman pilot, a police officer named Ed Indelicato. Pascal also appeared in the un-aired The Sixth Gun pilot, and in the recent Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Pascal worked previously with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins on the TV series Exposed.
The Wonder Woman sequel is set for release November 1, 2019.
