BRYAN HILL Taking Over DETECTIVE COMICS - And Bringing BLACK LIGHTNING With Him

The Wild Storm author Bryan Edward Hill will take over as writer of Detective Comics following longtime writer James Tynion IV's exit from the title.
 
Hill will author a two-part story which pairs Batman with his former Outsiders teammate Black Lightning. The arc, titled "On the Outside," will be drawn by Miguel Mendonça.
 
Hill is also scheduled to write a crossover one-shot featuring Black Lightning and Hanna-Barbera's Hong Kong Phooey titled Who the Hell Cares, You Should Just Buy It Because It Will Be Great.
 
"On the Outside" kicks off in June. Here are the solicitiations for both parts, along with the cover to Detective Comics #182:
