Lynda Carter will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony scheduled for April 3. Carter, best-known as the titular star of the 1970s TV series Wonder Woman, recently appeared on CW's Supergirl.
“Superhero fans will be thrilled to see the TV’s iconic original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter honored with her well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!” said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO. “We are proud to add Lynda onto our historic Walk of Fame.”
The star will be at 6562 Hollywood Boulevard, amongst the Television category.
Patty Jenkins, director of the recent Wonder Woman film, is scheduled to speak at the event, along with CBS Corporation's President/Chairman/CEO Les Moonves.
