Long-time Marvel Comics artist/writer Chris Samnee has confirmed that his run on Captain America with writer Mark Waid ends with April's #700 - and so does his 10-year tenure at Marvel.

"For those asking, I’ve finished my contract with Marvel so Cap 700 is my last issue," Samnee tweeted. "Thanks for your support of my Marvel work over the last 10 years and thanks to Marvel for the awesome opportunities. I’m super excited about what’s next. I’ll share more as soon as I can!"

Samnee made his comics debut in 1997, and first worked at Marvel with 2008's Daredevil: Blood of the Tarantula.

Waid will continue his run on Captain America, as Leonardo Romero joins him for May's #701.
