Up-and-coming screenwriter Umair Aleem has been tapped to write the planned Danger Girl live-action film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Based on the 1990s comic series by J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell, the Danger Girl movie is being developed by Constantin Film, Bolt Pictures, and Prime Universe Films.

Aleem wrote the direct-to-video Bruce Willis film Extraction, as well as as a 2017 Black list screenplay, Kate, which Netllix recently picked up.
