Amidst the volley of new information released Tuesday with DC Comics' May 2018 solicitations was the reveal of a new one-shot, Green Lanterns Annual #1, by writer Andy Diggle and artist Juan Ferreyra. Much of the buzz became about it being Diggle's first work for DC since his abrupt departure from the publisher in 2013 just weeks before he was to begin a run on Action Comics, but it seems in the excitement to have Diggle back DC made a mistake.

Juan Ferreyra has tweeted out that he's not drawing the book. Yes, he drew the cover but he was never contracted to draw the actual book.

DC has not commented on the apparent error. Here is the solicitation as it was published:

Written by ANDY DIGGLE • Art and cover by JUAN FERREYRA • Retailers: Includes a code for a free digital download of this issue.
