New Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Daredevil, Darkhawk, and Champions miniseries will be coming as part of Marvel's Infinity Countdown event series. They were announced as part of a checklist included in this week's Infinity Countdown: Adam Warlock.
The length of each tie-in is still unclear - Infinity Countdown: Darkhawk lists four issues with Infinity Countdown Champions listed as two issues. while Infinity Countdown: Captain Marvel, Infinity Countdown: Daredevil, and Infinity Countdown: Black Widow's tie-ins appear to comprise only a single issue each.
Captain Marvel's ongoing title is on hiatus during Infinity Countdown, which may mean she'll receive a more substantial place in the story. Meanwhile, it's unknown if the Black Widow in question is the still presumed-dead Natasha Romanoff or her successor, the recently returned Yelena Belova. Darkhawk hasn't anchored a series since 2009's War of Kings: Darkhawk, though his 90s ongoing series did receive a one-shot revival as part of "Legacy."
The Infinity Countdown: Champions would seem to be running alongside the Champions ongoing which Jim Zub and Sean Izaakse were just announced as taking over with April's #19.
Additionally, Marvel editor Jordan D. White shared a portion of an unrevealed upcoming cover by an unnamed artist featuring Darkhawk, seen here, seeming to indicate a significant role for the mostly dormant character in the series.
The next chapter in the series, Infinity Countdown Prime, is due out on shelves February 21.
