Stan Lee has been admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after experiencing shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat, TMZ first reported. A spokesperson for Lee later said the 95-year-old writer is "doing well and feeling good; he is staying there for a few days for some check-ups as a safety precaution."

Lee attended Monday's Black Panther purple carpet premiere on Monday, January 29, and posed with fans as seen in this photo.

Earlier this year Lee cancelled several planned convention appearance due to an unspecified illness.
