As part of the deal for DMG Entertainment to acquire Valiant Entertainment, three of the comic publisher's top executives are departing the company.

According to Valiant representatives, Chairman Peter Cuneo, CEO/CCO Dinesh Shamdasani, and CCO Gavin Cuneo are resigning as part of the terms of the DMG deal. Dinesh and Gavin, however, will continue to work with Valiant as consultants.

Shamdasani was among the group of entrepreneurs, with Jason Kothari, who bought the rights to Valiant from Acclaim Entertainment in 2005. In 2010, Peter Cuneo joined as company chairman (and became an investor). Gavin Cuneo joined at the same time as CFO/COO. Kothari stepped away from the company in 2015 after stints as company Chairman and Vice Chairman.

Valiant's publishing team, overseen by publisher Fred Pierce and Editor-In-Chief Warren Simons, are slated to remain in place and continue the company's comic book plans. Valiant is scheduled to remain in their New York City headqaurters.
